Wouldnt it be possible to set up a jack lead off the audio speakers on the playstation into your PCs soundcard input or am I being to simplistic?

True, this could be done. But rather inpractical since there is a distance of two rooms and over 75' between my Playstation and my computer room. Also in order to get the audio that way I would have to play the entire CD and copy as I played it. What I am looking for is to get the sound that is already there off the playsyation to the HDD without having to play the game to get it.

Have you tried looking for a playstation emulator for the PC and doing the biz from there?
