Seagate TR5 tape drive
After having A LOT of repeat problems with the Seagate TR4 drives over the past months, I've decided to upgrade some of my clients' drives to the TR5 model, which seem to be more reliable.
I was wondering if the TR4 tapes will work in the TR5 drive. I have a feeling that they are backward compatible, but I'd like to be sure.

Cybertech, unless I miss my guess, you will only be able to read but not write TR4 tapes in a TR5 drive. I know this is true for TR3 to TR4, so I think it applies here too.
