Unhappy Unable to autorun DVD ROM and CDRW

Since installing a Plexwriter 12 10 32a my Pioneer DVD ROM does not automatically play audio cd's.
After selecting Device manager, DVD ROM settings. I noticed the DVD is checked against - diconnect-auto insert notification and DMA. Whilst the CDRW is checked against - disconnectand DMA .
Is this correct? and why doe the DVD not auto play.

I'm sure there's some sort of registry entry for this, but I load up TweakUI and on the paranoia tab, there is the option to auto play data and audio CD's..

I've found that to be the most helpful tool when this sort of thing happens..

Tweak UI can be obtained here...

Ya gotta watch out for the PlexManager 2000 software. It grabs all the associations for auto-insert and feeds them to what you tell it to. If you don't specify an app for DVDs to be fed to... no playing. I had to uninstall the whole silly package after I started getting pop-ups about missing SCSI devices when I right-clicked any CD drive. Other than that... the drive itself is with a little thrown in.
