    Post Dual boot system

I had a dual boot Win98/Win2000 system. I bought Partition Magic to get rid of the 98 partition and have the Win2000 partition take over this extra space. This worked fine but I still have the boot partition which was formatted to use 1 gig of space and contains the ntldr prgram as well as the boot.ini. Can I also get rid of this partition and incorporate it into the Win2000 partition? If so what do I need to do?

You should be able to incorporate all partitions into 1 but be sure you are leaving the correct one intact. Just delete the partitions you do not want and merge the free space into the new partition. You should then mark the partition you will be using as the active partion. Windows will then use it as the boot partition instead of looking for the partition you deleted to boot from.
