    Post dvd rom sharing

    I have a home network set up and a dvd drive connected to the server that I would like to share with users connected to it. How can I do this. I can map to the share and see the contents but it doesn't play from a client computer.

    By making a network share you cannot View Films...
    But for File Operations it's Fine.

    We had a similar topic some weeks ago. I replied the same thing, but someone said that you can do it, using a specific DVD Player Software. I'm sorry, but I can't remember right now. If you used the Forum Search option, you might find something.
