Wink Who thinks WinXP looks like Win2000 for Children??!

I load WinXP beta switch to the XP theme and instantly I felt like I was in a virtual Sesame place.
Aside from some of the kewl stuff it does, I think Microsoft hired the day care staff to design the interface

Because most (l)users have the mentality of a retarded 3 year old (sorry if I offended any of our retarded members in the house). They've got to dumb things down as much as they can.

Wrong answer! You were supposed to say "you can say that again" one more time, so we could do this in and endless cycle. Just think, you coulda made "Tech God" tonight, and together we could've made the Word Association thread look TINY!

What if Scott keeps adding more and more and more and more changes over the next few weeks to the Windrivers.com UBB. Pretty soon we'll have to call it "WindriversXP.com". (LOL,... J/K!)

I don't know if it looks like Win2K for kids, but it surely looks like Linux KDE to me. All those large icons and menus make me think I have an MS-Linux or something.

With the XP beta that I have, that silly XP theme loads by default when you install the OS. First time I saw it - AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH WTF is this????? My god the start menu looks like something Hello Kitty would draw up.

I agree, the new GUI is really lame. There are around five settings you have to change to get back to "Windows Classic". Not much effort on a single machine but where I work we're talking about a lot more than one. I really wish Microsoft would make the interface an option during setup. I don't care if they make the new one the default, just give me one check box to determine the interface.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience
