I didn't know Time Warner was Road Runner?! We had two cable companys here where I live, one (Media One) covered most everybody, and two Time Warner which took care of eveyone else. Anyway Media One was bought out about 10 months ago by Comcast, but Media One ofered Road Runner, not time warner.

Right on dude! My Earthlink DSL will be activated tomorrow as well. I just can't wait for the DSL modem to arrive, then I'll be living the broadband dream as well.

    LOL!

Early 2002 is when I'll stop "packing" my phone line as well.

I can almost taste DSL from here...

Media One was bought out by a variety of companies due to cable anti-trust laws. AT&T bought 'em in Jacksonville, ComCast in SW FLA, AOL/Time Warner elsewhere. Road Runner went to whatever company bought Media One in your area.
