Post Working on the 4th (U.S.)

Seems to me like my forefathers fought and died for my right to screw off all day today, so why am I working right now? Been here since 7 a.m. and it doesn't look good for this evening... I MIGHT get out of here in time to take my daughter to the fireworks show. I know I'm not the only one... Techs of the USA, unite!! Post your gripes here!

Well , I am in Canada but it is my Birthday today and I'm stuck at work too. In my mind Birthdays should be Stat holidays. I feel for you . There's no way I would come into work on Canada DAy.

Oddly enough, I'm in Canada, and I think about half the office is gone today. Maybe it just seems that way because Windrivers is so dead today but still...

I work for an American IT Company here in the sunny UK, The powers from high decided to give us muffins and other sweets as well as little toys waving flags which said "Happy 4th July".

Being honest I would prefere a day of work instead of cakes and toys. <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0">

    Anyway to all the people in the USA I hope you all have a happy 4th July <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Well, this is unbelievable. Someone saying "thanks" and showing some appreciation? My God, I thought it couldn't happen. You just made my day <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
