Post For all you job seekers....

I just had to tell my little story and the main impressive thing with Windrivers.com and the forums here...

About a month ago, I had to quit a job and two that I had lined up both fell through. I was without a job for a month. During that month I said "f*@# it" and tried something differant. I put a posting up in the Windrivers.com forums. I got a response a day or two later from a Windrivers member, KoWind7 , and I took my resume down.

Ok, flash forward ahead almost two months from the time I quit the job...
I have an interview at the company the Windrivers member told me about. And the crazy thing is I stopped at one of their branches and asked if they were looking for someone and they said no (that happened during my one month unemployeement period...), a few weeks later KoWind7 contacted me on my post and I got the interview Thursday.

The order of informing on the outcome of the interview will go like this...

    #1 My wife, of course
#2 All of you at Windrivers
#3 AND OF COURSE... my current job, so I can say This is my 1 or 2 week notice...

Cool, if it doesn;t work out, have you thought of moving to the Traverse City/petoskey area? we're looking, nd you can be near GeekGirl.

Never mind... GeekGirl, you want a job?

I totally agree. I am approaching this interview like all others... calm, cool, collected. And a little "saying" I came up with when I interviewed for one job in particular where my wife went along and I got it (long story behind it...)

"I will be right back. I am gonna go get a job. He might as well just stop wasting his time and offer the job when I walk in, he just dont know who he is messing with. If the man wants to go through with the interview, thats up to him. I just thought I would try to save him a little time."
