is it possible to Upgrade Win2k with a Full version of Winxp Pro
ran a search and got nothing, is it possible to Upgrade Win2k with a Full version of Winxp Pro, and if so how do I go about it? thanks.

Yes, last time I tried this with RC2 on a test box. Just put the CD in your drive and the autorun should fire right up and ask you if you wish to upgrade. If autorun is disabled just run the setup file off the root directory of the CD.

I guess they changed things all my other versions of windows won't install they say I need an upgrade version not the full.

Same here...couldn't do an upgrade. Upon running system compatibility checker, I got an error message telling me that I need to clean install.

You can upgrade from the full Retail version as I was informed today by Microsoft in my quest to find out why the Retail versions have a different time & date stamp to the OEM's.
