Do you disable the built in firewall when using ZoneAlarm?
I was wondering what people were doing? Any advantage to having them both run? Anyone seeing any problems?

I would turn off the WinXP firewall. I run ZoneAlarm on XP and that is enough to handle if you have troubles. So disable the WinXP Firewall, it sucks anyway! There is no advantage to running them both.

I didn't trust XP's firewall because I couldn't see it working So I disabled it also and installed Zone alarm.
Everything seems fine.
I hope that someday we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people.

I use ZA and the default that comes with XP. I'm pretty sure that ZA automatically covers everything and more that the default one stops... But hey, I don't think it's hurting me any. I haven't been hit with any trojans yet or anything. (I'm on dialup, and I'm sure that helps a little though...not being a static target on the net.)
I really miss my Norton firewall though. I liked many of its features that are missing in ZA. (of course you didn't ask about that though... )
