Service Packs after XP Repair??
Do the service packs need re-installing after running a repair for XP?

Service packs on WinXP? I don't recall there even being one released yet.
If you're referring to security patches, then I would recommend reinstalling them all, just in case.
If you're referring to Win2000, then SP2 would be the one to shoot for.

I've had it work both ways in the shop, depending on how much of a repair was needed..my rule of thumb was to always run windows update for the critical updates, if they don't show up, then no..
