    Sysprep and Windows 98

I have the Sysprep utility and it works great. I have always used it with Windows 2000. Can't get it to work on a Windows 98 machine. Is there a different Sysprep for Windows 98?

I don't believe they make a version that supports FAT32 file systems, only NTFS.

The previous statement cannot be correct as I use the current version of sysprep on Windows 2000 w/FAT 32 and it works correctly. However it may be an NT only tool since it's primary function is to remove the SID to allow a new one to be created and I do not believe that win 9x uses an SID.

    I stand corrected.
