i have faced a big problem,
i have a gigabyte motherboard (7N400 Pro 2 rev 1.x). http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...px?pid=1678#dl
i tried to install 1.5 terabyte Hard drive but it didn't installed and i hope to do that after resolving my new problem. the big problem is:
when i contact gigabyte to solve that they sent me a bios version but after flashing it my motherboard didn't recognize even my first Hard drive.
so i preferred to refreash it to the last bios that i had. 7n400p2.f11
but i faced this error. bios id error!!!
after that i opened the dual bios feature that my motherboard supports.
i tried to use the backup bios but i saw the similar response,
i opened the setting i saw a confusing thing, i didn't have such icon in the booting priority part (floppy, CD, HDD) before all these option there is another option (Silicon/Raid...).
it seems my motherboard has upgraded itself !!! to the upper version (GA-7N400 Pro2 (rev. 2.x) http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...1756&dl=1#bios
since when i flash the bios with one in its family (such as 7n400p2.fb) it accept without error but it has problem in boot. the acceptance without error is so confusing.
now i couldn't do anything. please help me. i am in danger!
