    Lightbulb

This won't help you much but just FYI -
AT class Chasis and PSU are still best sellers around here (Israel).
Though you can find ATX in every store.
Lets put it this way - there is almost no computer store which has no AT PSUs.

    Just for General knowledge...

ebay maybe. I have a few laying around because like Ya_know I pulled them out of junk machines.

I catch a lot of the old systems here at work (large american corporation) before they hit the dumpster and gut them for enough usuable parts in case it comes down to me needing an AT power supply or pentium soket 7 CPU. etc.

I even keep a couple of systems whole just in case someone kills a old mainboard - or I want to make a linux router.

There is still alot of computers out there using at power supplies. If anyone has abandoned a working clone pentium or amd k62 system, you should be able to salvage the at p.s. from them.

Gabriel. Why are At cases and at power supplies so popular in Israel???? Do you deal in alot of older computers than newer over there???

Used computer stores are swamped with them. If you walked into my old store and offered $20 we would have given you as many as you could carry.

Star Tech was our supplier, they still have them too, but they aren't cheap there.

    It's a law issue...
There is a low in Israel that for every Product (Computers, Cars, Washing machine Etc.) you have to hold spare parts for at least 7 Years.
If not you can be sued (and it will even take you a lot of money).

Interesting info. In a way, I can see that makes alot of sense for certain types of older products. As for computers though, why would anyone want to keep a 486 or 386 parts like mainboards kicking around just for replacement??? I know it is the law as you stated, but it might just be better to get something faster.

    Thanks for the info.

I agree with you on that one there Pauly Shore (Pet Peeve, Pet Peeve!) . But only if you buy it through the web there .

Where I used to work, we specialized in Startech for their networking, cabling and cooling fan products also.
We also sold replacement power supplies like a 230 watt at power supply for $39.99 (canadian price) vs startech's MSRP of $80.99. Don't know why Startech charges so much. They must be deliberately doing this to encourage potential customers to buy through a computer store that specializes in their products (Just a theory).

But, I find Startech's power supply quality isn't very good.
We used to Rma alot of them before. But they have great warranty service.
