    XP Question

    I have a question about Win xp , I had Xp home installed on my pc, I then bought and installed the full version of Xp Pro on my pc. My dad is currently running Win Me and I was wondering if it would cause any problems installing that upgarde version of xp home on his computer since it had already been registered on mine before?

    No, there should be no problems as you no longer have it on your machine.

    Has anyone had any problems going from ME to XP home?
    I have read on the board in earlier post that some people have had trouble.

    Many people have - golden rule with XP - format and clean install. You can do this with an upgrade disk - you start the install as usual, when it works out that it is an upgrade disk and there is no os to upgrade it asks for your qualifying software - feed it the me cd at that point.
