    Wish i had a 2k box to try it on, over all, i heard it went well.

    I'm keepping my W2K box at SP2. After all the trouble and fuss with SP3 - no thankyou.

    ko, but this wouldnt work for my work must have the lastest patches...gotta be secure gotta use windows

    oh and we just got a new intrusion detection server and guess what they didnt know but it runs linux lol just funny. And no one but me knows how to use it lol....oh and we got this from CISCO and CISCO didnt plug up the basic security holes.. one is telnet USE SSH (sorry pet peeve)

    upgrade without a hitch - almost unheard of from the lovely microshaft...

    Dell Openmanage still has a fit with it, but it had a fit wit SP3 as well. At least it isnt the same Dll files getting replaced this time. (was SNMP with SP3) This time it appears that one of the PERC 3di driver files got upgraded and now the adaptec cio program keeps hanging.

    I wish MS and its partners would standardize on the function calls that will be used in specific Dll files.

    Its no biggie but I like a nice blue and white event log.

    I agree about the workstations. I have 7 in one site I used as guinnea pigs last week did a managed install through AD and not so much as a warning flag in thier event logs.

    I've deployed to 18 servers and about 200 workstations - without any major problems.

    I had a couple users override the reboot function because they were too busy to reboot - and their printers stopped working until they rebooted. (remote and local)

    Weird thing, but I wouldnt call it a problem since you need to reboot to make the changes active.
