    wireless network (hardware?)

    Ok, I need to network some guy's Detailing shop. He's got two machines in the office. 1 new dell running XP and an older gatwa running 98 se. he wants to go wireless and be able to tap into the Network from his house which is approx. 350 ft away with his toshiba laptop.

    any suggestions on hardware? (nics and hub?)

    A great source of information is Netstumbler.com forums They can tell you what to use, how to make the antenna and all that stuff. Plus netstumbler is a great tool for doing what you want and finding dead spots in the process. Cheers.

    Dlink - http://www.dlink.com - has a few products for doing network to network or wireless ap extenders.
