    Well, I've built and mended 100's of machines in my old life as a tech, some AMD, some Intel, some Cyrix and some stuff you've never heard of, and to be honest, I don't care.

    My desktop is an AMD, and it's fine, my PC laptop is an Intel, and it's fine. They have similar specs, and perform similarly.

    I had a Cyrix PR233+ in the day, it was fine, and, to be honest, it probably was a little faster than the corresponding MMX, I just bought it cause it was about half the price of an Intel.

    Now, on the other hand, I have an Apple laptop, and it kicks *** :butt:
