My PC is on speed!
I waas on my administration page for my online sales and orders that are late normally flash red/yellow every 500 milliseconds (half second), I noticed it was flashing quite fast, I refreshed the page to re initialize the javascript and it was still as fast. Then while updating the TV guide I noticed my busy cursor animation was much faster than usual, and while typing this I noticed it takes a much shorter delay of holding down a keep before it starts repeating, and needless to say, it repeats VERY fast. At this point I look at the clcok in the systray and it is indeed 15 minutes ahead!
What is wrong with my PC?!? Why is everything so fast?
I bet this is the first time someone ever complains about PC being to fast
Thanks

Seems like a reboot fixed it.

Maybe that program that Microsoft puts on every windows computer to slow the system wasn't working right. I think it's called explorer.exe?
It's amazing how fast a new fast computer can become slow once an average user starts to use it.

I have a RAID 0 array in my PC, nothing (except loading photoshop 7) takes more than half a second, I can;'t stand waiting even 1 second for a program to open, but my PC has no problems at all loading 99% of my programs in less than a fraction of a second.
Trust me, RAID 0 is well worth it if you demand performance.

Maybe your PC had the electronic equivalent of Wheaties?

If you are Speed Enthusiastic I recommend on Sata HDD or SCSI HDD (10K+ RPM with large cache). RAID 0 are good but less reliable (+ they need Extra power and generate Noise and Heat).
Also Adding more RAM is always Good.
BTW if you have enough RAM there is a RAMdrive driver fo WIXP (Yes loading/Running programs from RAM).
Gods Speed,
