    OE moves folder by itself

i have a client which i made her a new folder in outlook express.
I also made a rule that everything containing her name in the subject is transferred to this folder.
She get lots of mail each day (20-30).
Once in every few weeks a strange thing happens :
Her folders is automatically transfered to another location in the OE folders.
So she manually bring it back to the root.
Do you have a solution for this ?
    Thanks
    Hagi :O)

    Mmm ... well I am confus-ed with this !!

Nothing running, or being periodically run, that might 'correct' its location ?

I can think of anti malware 'stuff' that might do this (though I think you'd know it was at least 'there' & have looked at that ?), but my prime candidate would be windows updates, specifically OE since this 'is' ..

However if you mannually created these folders 'extra' (you never name them, but I assume) - they shouldn't be moving at all !

Of course maybe some 'malware' is responsible ? (rather than something 'fixing' a non standard setting). So check for that maybe with HijackThis or your own choice ..

Possibly caused by OE's "Auto Archive" feature?
