SP2 Preview now available from MS
Yeap, MS have let loose the RC1 Preview of SP2 for those who fancy having a look at it before general release.
It is available as a Network Install with a d/l of 273MB (so dial-up users need not apply unless they have a lot of time on their hands ).
I am currently downloading it at the moment, but if the features that it implements are as good as the current features in the Longhorn releases, it shouldn't cause any issues to most of us.
If you want to try it, it is supplied by MS 'as is' with no support on it, so it is at users own risk.
You can download it from http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro...p2preview.mspx
Have fun.

New functions=new bugs that will have to be patched immediately. I would wait until the first security update cycle after the SP2 release...

After installing it, Auo Update runs & there is 4 new security updates already for it, which shows that MS are on the case.
Looks to be OK though at the moment, but only time will tell.
