Can't access Folder Options or Internet Explorer-Internet Options
Running Windows 98 SE. Internet Explorer 5. Description of problem: the first thing I noticed is that when using the IE Tools-Internet Options it says "the operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on this computer. Please contact your network administrator" I then noticed that in any folder when I go Tools-Folder Options I get the same message. I had just removed a ton of spyware and trojans off this computer. I was wondering if I could use Poledit to see what is going on but when I run it it says "can't find c:\windows\inf\common.adm"
I can get to internet option thru control panel and have reset security settings there, etc but no help.
Heelllppp please.

It's a customers pc. After I have spent the time cleaning the viruses and spyware I would hate to have to wipe and reinstall.

If you can get into the registry, have a look for the internet options. Can't quite remember the keys....
After all the policy editor just makes a registry change.
I'll have a look and post if I find the key.

Welcome to Windrivers NeoTenshu
You do not need to buy the tweak, it tells you how to do it manually.
Did you follow the instructions, which part don't you understand?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

aah, you don't download it. You read the rest of the page and follow the instructions. If you want to pay for it so that you can have it done automatically, that is up to you.
