    Talking Slight virus infection?

Was checking a machine today because the user claimed that the machine was running slow and was sending email by itself.

Get me a soldering iron and some duct tape, and I'll see what I can do.

Looks to me to be the dreaded "Red X" virus.

Not to bad... nice to see you around still Trip :P

Anyways we did have a screenshot of it but this was 3 and a a half years ago at another job, unfortunately I no longer have the picture. I'll see if the perintout is still in that store and see if I can get a scan of it. See 19,000 today is quite easy, but back then was a rare treat. If I remember correctly it was a mixture of Klez, Magistr, Hybris and several other lesser known viruses (that I can't rmemeber the names).

There is no such thing as a "slight" virus infection.

what about viruses that are present on the drive but not active? Like today I had a computer with the good ol' CIH virus in some obscure file in the "middle of nowhere". The computer was fine, the program wasn't referenced anywhere and most likely from the looks of it been residing there for at least months... I would consider that a slight virus infection or perhaps a slight virus carrier
