    reset gateway LC power on password?

    I am looking at a gateway LC 500se with an MP4M-23ACM motherboard. The owner gave me what she thought the power on pass word was, but it does not work. I can't find any info on the MB nor see any jumpers marked as cmos. The battery is pulled, but the password continues to come up. Any help or suggestions? Thanks!

    Got it

    Problem Solved.


    Had to take the power off and remove the battery.
