External table is not in expected format
External table is not in expected format is the error i get when trying to import a DBF (Dbase IV) file into access...I was able to do this on my old Win9x box with Office 2000 SR1 SP2 fine....Now my pc is a Windows 2000 SP4 with Office 2000 SR1 SP2 and I cant import that file anymore....
Any Ideas...

Had a similar problem that I solved by applying SP3 to Office 2000. If you aren't on broadband, and don't want to wait 16 hours to download the service pack over a dial-up connection, you might also get around the problem simply by applying MDAC 2.8 to your existing configuration.
