2000 to 2003 Migration HELP!!
I would like to know if anyone has put together a step by step checklist of things to do for a 2000 to 2003 migration. Possibly a project plan, etc.
I currently am running Windows 2000 AD and Exchange 2000. All of this runs on the same box. I’m installing new servers, a 2003 domain controller and a 2003 exchange server. I need some help.

Hi Kalel,
Welcome to WinDrivers!
The migration you are embarking upon is (fortunately) well documented. Hopefully, you are upgrading to plain old 2003 Server and not the Web Edition (the Web Edition presents a whole different set of obstacles when attempting a migration from 2000). For starters, I'd recommend the standard 2000-2003 Migration whitepaper:
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...2/Upgwin2k.doc
But once you sift through all the Marketing crap, you'll find that you are only partially enlightened as to what steps need to be performed (and in what order). A more comprehensive source of information can be found at:
http://www.labmice.net
This site contains a lot of useful info, whitepapers, checklists, etc. -and- it is much more straightforward than wasting hours querying the MS KB.
Hope this helps!
Mike
