My IT CV: Was a partner in a very lucrative 2 man firm for a couple of years (1999-2001 - the times when teching paid), then I went to uni for a while, worked helldesk, networks on the side for the uni. Now I do a little teching on the side for a few carefully selected customers. Main work is running a supermarket and grease monkeying/motor trading.
I'm in charge and I say we blow it up

Started out as a Finance Guy. Built a computer by accident, and was shocked at the idiocy of our IT guys. I'm new, but appreciate the help.

Well, my job has changed drasticly recently. I'm working at the power/gas company in San Antonio. I do new PC installs and trouble calls when I'm not busy with installs. Since the end of the fiscal year wasn't long ago, I've been pretty swamped with installs (those who work in large companies know what I mean) and haven't taken many trouble calls.
Its a temp position. I've put in for a full time permanent tech position. That would probably mean I'd have to do helldesk sometimes, but it would pay more, have more hours, and get me benefits, so I'm praying I get it.
