Actually...
And I won't even talk about their "Athens" model.

Oh crap.
Just coming back from the COH Forums...
It is starting to look more and more like I will either need to respec Stalemate again, with the upcoming changes brought to the Invulnerability powerset, or just simlpy give up and retire him.
I don't have time to look at all the possible effects right now, and won't make a decision until Issue 3 is officially out, but the Training Room feedback is... exactly the opposite of why I respec'ed him in the first place at level 27. Major changes to powers will make my choices and slotting virtually pointless, from what I can see.
I'll have to upload the current Stalemate build onto the test server and experiment a bit...

Sanity check: Keep in mind that this is on TEST and only Test. They have already done and done away with a major change to Regen that didn't give them the results the Devs were looking for.
I do like the fact that they are changing Unyielding Stance to Unyielding, biggest difference is that you can move!!!! Yay!
Here comes the revolution; time for the retribution.

Which was the reason why I skipped it entirely in the first place: the immovable aspect. But...
With perma-Unstoppable and Invincibility being nerfed, I'll have to completely review my tanker build (my main toon right now), and consider the level 34 respec just when I was finally satisfied with him. That will have lasted from levels 28 to 33.
I know I'm sounding off way in advance of any official changes being brought to Invulnerability, but I may just place that one on the shelf until Issue 3 is out so I don't invest any more in it until I can be sure. Training Room, here I come.
But that's OK - I have others I want to bring up anyhow.
It is either Fracas (17 blaster) or a d e p t (8 scrapper) tonight. And for the next while it appears.

I got a co-worker who dropped his CoH for WoW and is looking to get rid of his copy. If anyone wants to buy it let me know and I'll find out how much he wants.

I picked it up from the Tanker and Training Room sections, here and there.
Can't spend more time on that right now, but I do want to figure out what exactly the proposed changes translate into in actual gameplay.
