Unhappy Slow right click menu, weird problem

    Hi Everyone! I'm Zona :)

I have a weird problem, hope someone can help with this thing.

When I right click on a file, it takes a long time for the menu to come up (about 20 seconds) After waiting the 20 seconds I can re-right click on it and the menu comes up right away, but if I wait a while and do it again then I have to wait for it all over again. I sure hope this made sense lol.

I thought that it might be my Norton antivirus, but I have disabled the auto scanning part of it. I also thought that it might be a harddrive setting that I found one day that defrags and stuff in the background when I am idle (forgot where to find that option to turn it off)

    Anyways, here are my specs:
Windows XP Home (Fresh install with all updates, plus dx 9.0b)
    P4 2.53
    VIA p4pb 400
Corsair512-3500c2, 2-3-3-7-T1 running at 333 (won't post with any higher setting)
    ATI 9700pro (128 ram)
    Onboard audio
Western Digital 100g SE, 8m cache
    Sygate firewall running
    Norton Virus scanner thing
    SB 4100 cable modem
Only computer in the house, no network or anything.

    Oh....
I downloaded and ran all the spyware programs listed in other threads, and by reading the forums was able to get everything cleaned up.

Oh, again.... lastly, here is the report from Hijack This:
    Logfile of HijackThis v1.97.7
