I go with whoever offers the best price/performance ratio. My last card was a Radeon 8500 LE overclocked from 250/250 to 275/300 (RIP). My current card is an XFX 5900 NonUltra flashed to 5950 bios and overclocked from 400/800 to 525/975.

As soon as one releases a new card - nVidia 6800 ati already have one ready x800 and vice versa, its a conspiracy, its all a conspiracy to make us go crazy.
BTW if u want a great VIVO card the best is the ATI All in Wonder, features are over and above the rest, for now though i guess nVidia

What was that? I can't hear you.
About to add 2 more fans for HDD cooling.

Flabooble!
Latest from Max PC has the ATI x800 winning in real life tests vs the Nvidia 6800. The opposite is shown in benchmarking software (which I don't think should ever be the basis for anything but seeing the diff. in an OC).
I use ATI, just because I always have (aside from some el cheapo and matrox stuff). No real reason.

I thing I like most about Nvidia is its website. Just one driver to update and its really simple to find.
Unlike ATI where its, last time I checked, a maze...
