How to PROPERLY defrag a H.D.
There's no panic like the panic you momentarily feel when you've got
your hand or head stuck in something

He's right in most of it except about using SOS pads on it , all you need to use is alcohol to clean it .
But other than that , thats how I've always done it .
on a side note tho , why does that only work once ?
for me anyways .

If you add the alcohol to yourself you won"t care how fragged your hard drive is.
I also wonder how many people saw that on the internet and tried it?

Oh, that reminds me,.. My drive is due for a defraggle too. Now I just need to find my screwdriver, some pliers, and my blow torch and I should have it finished just in time to play some CoH.

You don't need a Blow torch ,a Hammer maybe .

I don't have time for all that, I just stick em in the dishwasher.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

This is freaking hilarious!! I bet some people would try it had it not been for the part about throwing pieces out and the part about leaving pieces hang out in the end.

The sad part about that is there are actually people in this world that would question whether or not this would really work.

They didn't mention anything about backing up your data before you start. I've found that a photocopier does nicely and only takes a few seconds.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience

Good tip, remember to remove the staples first else Mavis the Receptionist will get all upset and hold back the custard creams for a week....
