Question Looking for a Gigabyte mobo

Am looking for a Gigabyte mobo ($80 or less)with these specs:
    Athlon XP
    Dual channel DDR
    Socket A
    400 FSB
    8X AGP
These are what were found in searches:
    http://www.google.com/froogle?price1...&price=between

    And this:
    http://www.nextag.com/Gigabyte_Techn...hr8zmainz5-htm

    Which mobo would work best?
"To seek out new life forms", and promptly whipe them out.

Am upgrading from a GA-7IXE4 Gigabyte mobo. The BIOS of the old mobo had "boot sector virus protection", and "BIOS write protect". Do the new ones?
Do all the Gigabyte mobos have dual-BIOS?

sethp, no idea - I would have to do the same as you - go to gigabyte site and check through ALL the specs.

The links you provide are to lists... but I think you mean one is an sis chipset and one is a via chipset and which is better the sis or via? or am I on the wrong track here?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Had been told the Nvidia chipset was faster, and that it was the only kind that supported dual channel?
