I would take that sniley off the end of that sentence, I've once installed Real Player, and it was a total nightmare, not only did I have to search for the free download for hours, I then had to fill out 10 surveys so they could then email me a download link, meaning I have to give a valid email so they can be sure they will be spamming me, then the download link has few few more surveys to fill out, then I finally got the installer downloaded! "Finally!" I thought, boy was I wrong, there were another 10 surveys during the install, but then I truely was done and could finally watch the 1 minute video I went through all this for. But NO! Once the program is installed and ran, you have another 10 surveys to fill out, and then the video plays in 160x120 while the entire screen is loaded in advertisements.
I will NEVER download real again, even if it's a movie I had to watch at all costs, and it was only available in real, I would just do as if that video didnt exist... or get real alternative.
But seriously real should die, I truely hate them.

you should be using spamgourmet
I don't think my problems were codec related, the older versions of qta and rpa worked fine, and the new versions just displayed a see thru window, but no video. Seems like newer videos using newer codecs would not want to work, and the ones that played fine under the old player and old codecs would work ok???
I'll try that KLite codec pack and see what happens.
