    Question A-Open fm56-PV With Win NT 4.0 WKSTN

    I have a client who needs both com 1 and com 2 plus a modem. The motherboard (Intel D850MV) has no ISA slots so we have to use a PCI modem. Now the problem is both the A-Open and the 3-COM (USR) modems we have to use in this unit have no jumpers to set to COM 3. I have created a COM3 in control panel but NT just will not use he modem at all. Even if I disable com 2 in the bios and set the modem for that. Is there a known patch for this or am I shi% out of luck in this matter.??.. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

    Never mind, Figured it out. Thank god I am going on vacation this week, talk about burn out.
    There is a "Setup utility" on the disk in the "PV" folder that MUST be run, do this and it works fine.

    I'm outta here!!!
