They quit having Halloween Parties at my son's school about 4 years ago...I heard it was the costume issue and some kids' parents not having $ to get one and then those kids feeling left out.....
My thought...grab a sheet, cut some holes for eyes...send em off as a ghost!

If you're going to cancel Halloween since it portrays inaccurate elements of Wicca, wouldn't it be logical to further cancel Christmas and Easter so we don't offend the Christians in the group too?
After all, there's no Santa Claus, Reindeer, nor bunnies hiding chocolate eggs in the Bible...

I'm with the clam. I'm a wiccan of sorts and I don't car what anyone else does on my festival, so long as no one stops me going out and getting drunk at Christmas
I'm in charge and I say we blow it up

Good for you Rad..
You have to remember, Washington State is a slightly schizo state. On the Eastern side of the state are a lot of John Birch conservatives. They go for the radical right, hook-line-andsinker..
On the Western side of the state, we have crazier liberals than I am....like banning Halloween because it might offend witches. What Bull****....!!!!
BTW, I belong to a Unitarian Universalist church also. The Wiccans there celebrate Halloween !

The first two reasons are an excuse for being a d!ckhead.
First reason is a good reason. Second reason is a stupid reason (why not ban expensive clothing year round then?). The third reason is a monumentally stupid reason.

Wow,
The vote seems to be unanimous for condemnation. Maybe we should burn her like a steak for being a witch...?//
Isn't anybody going to defend her actions???//
