Windows XP SP2 problems
Windows XP brought me some problems:
1) Whenever installing a DOS based new software, executing SETUP returns the following error:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable to execute MS-DOS and MS Windows utilities. Choose "CLOSE" to conclude the installation.
I couldn't correct this.
2) After installation of SP2 I couldn't install Critical update for Office XP in the Windows XP Service Pack 2 (KB885884).
How to correct this?
Any idea to help me?
Thanks

Hi ALL,
For a while the MS clue solved my problem.
However, after a reboot, I noted that the AUTOEXEC.NT file, I've created with this MS support info, was deleted.
Does anybody knows what is happening? What makes this file vanish from my machine?
I have to create a AUT|OEXEC.NT everytime I need to install a program based on DOS...
Txs,
Seemefe
