IBM Thinkpad T20 - screen goes dark - Help !!!!
Hi all,
Have the weirdest problem with my old IBM Thinpad T20. Its a 543MHz P3 with 256MB RAM and Win XP SP2. A few months ago this problem started happening. If I leave the laptop alone for an hour or so, the screen goes dark, meaning the stuff is all there but the backlight won't come on. If I fidget with it a bit after a few minutes the backlight reluctantly comes back on. Same thing happens if I shut the top down and travel with it. However, it all depends on the duration of the laptop's inactivity and doesn't always happen that one or two hours of inactivity leads to complete darkness. This is really becoming annoying. What can I possible do about it? Please advise, thanks.
Best Regards,
Omar
