    mother board and sempron question

    hi

    i had a question with an ecs elitegroup m/b n2u400-a rev1.0
    and a sempron 2800 cpu

    the motherboard doesnt seem to see the sempron 2800 and only sees it as a xp 2400 , i check my settings and looked for other jumpers and nothing even flashed the bios but threw windows using a software that game with the board. im not sure if the the people at ecs didnt make a bios update for the sempron yet or if maybe i should flash the bios threw dos instead of windows or maybe im just missing something all together.

    any advice would be helpfull thank you.

    Note there are different ones for board version 1.0 and 1.0U
