Wow! Are they closing down shop? Or just going into a different business? Didn't see this coming. I figured they'd be around forever.

It seems more likely that they will stick to services, if they do sell off the hardware production.

Notice that it is selling it's PC business. Which leads be to believe that it will still be marketing servers and enterpise computer solutions as well, and are simply dropping the ultra competitive, low-profit pc market.

I happen to think that...a thinkpad aint worth 2 billion. Allthough they aren't too bad. At least I've only had one of ours die on us. (mobo fried itself. Under warranty, we just sent it back)
