The Google Toolbar increases your ability to find information from anywhere on the web and takes only seconds to install. Features:
- Google Search: Access Google's search technology from any web page.
- Search Site: Search only the pages of the site you're visiting.
- PageRank: See Google's ranking of the current page.
- Page Info: Access more information about a page including similar pages, pages that link back to that page, as well as a cached snapshot.
- Highlight: Highlight your search terms as they appear on the page; each word in its own color.
- Word Find: Find your search terms wherever they appear on the page.
- Popup Blocker: Make surfing the web easier by stopping annoying popups.

Google is your friend!
I love the deskbar too; so easy to search now and you don't even have to open a browser window.

I use the Google Toolbar, but the version that does NOT phone home with my info. It has been quite valuable for stopping popups, and I was using it for a search engine back when everyone was using Lycos, etc.
Not bad for a freebie.
If only you knew what's inside of me now,
You wouldn't want to know me, somehow.
