    rock and roll baby!

that was just about the PERFECT game. aside from the opening kickoff return, baltimore converting 8/14 3rd downs (though in truth most were meaningless,) and two turnovers I don't think they could've played a better game or for that matter coached a better game.

    well done steelers.

What an accomplishment for the Steelers. On the same day that Peyton broke Marino's supposedly unbreakable record, I wonder if any rookie qb will ever break Big Ben's current record. I can't see it.
    Are his ribs alright?

What worries me right now is seeing the Bills win out and still not make the playoffs.

Oh yeah baby! 2-13 and on our way to 2-14 as the worst team in the NFL! Go Niners! First round draft pick all the way for next year.

Well, he went back into the game for a few plays and made a couple of throws after the hit, but Cowher pulled him after they got into position for the game sealing field goal. He didn't go into the locker room early, and seemed to be in good spirits.

According to Myron Cope, it's just bruised ribs, but they'll know more after x-rays. Either way, I don't even dress him for next week's game. Or Burress. Or Ward. Or Bettis. Or Staley. Etc, etc. No point in getting any of the starters injured in a meaningless game

Considering how poorly the Browns front office has done with draft picks since they've come back (Tim Couch, Courtney Brown, William Green), they could have the first 10 picks in the draft and still find a way to screw it up.

Yeah, you're right. Was listening to Wtam here in Cleveland. They put on the Steelers game. That Myron Cope? guy, Is he for real? He sounds like Gilbert Godfried! He has one of the most annoying voices I've ever heard on radio.
The other guys with him were very knowledgable and made the game interesting to listen to.

I, for one, can't see the benefit of "playing" for a top draft pick.
The last thing in the world I want to see is my team giving up. Any team, or anyone, who fights it out until the end has my respect.
Give up?? For a draft pick???
    Come on....

Hey man, don't be dissing Myron Cope. He's been the voice of the Steelers for the last 35 years, and is a big part of Steeler football. Hell, he even came up with the Terrible Towel, and was the man to name the "Immaculate Reception". He's not quite as sharp as he used to be, he's in his 70s or so now and he's been ill a lot this year, but I can't imagine him not doing the Steelers games. I used to turn the volume down on the TV audio, and crank up the webcast of the game so I could listen to Myron and the boys. Can't do that now since the NFL charges for NFL audio feeds, and I'm already shelling out $200 for Sunday Ticket.

What about Seatle finally taking a stand and winning?
What about that "Dolt" comeback? Impressive, huh?
    What about NFL football?
Will a losing team make the playoffs in the NFC?

I'd like to see the Bills come out of nowhere and take the whole thing. Or even Washington. That would be greatness.

That would be something, woudn't it?
But! The Bills still need to win out and hope other teams lose!
Imagine though...after all those Super Bowls in a row, only to lose every year, and then, to come out like they did this year? As a loser? And then start winning, and, not just winning, but kicking butt! And then, after all that adversity to win it all!!

Sounds like Hollywood to me though...
