HELP.. Can't reset BIOS Password
I recently got a Compaq 2132RS Laptop. When I press F2 to get into Setup, it asks for a password. I do not know it. I have tried removing the CMOS battery for an hour, shorting it out, removed the Laptop battery as well as AC Power. Password is still there. I tried pressing F10, says Starting Diagnostics and then starts to boot. Tried pressing the FN key as well.. Nothing I am doing is working.,

Laptops are different.
Who did you buy it from? You may need to contact Compaq and prove ownership.

While I don't have a direct answer to your question, you might check out Compaq Presario 2132RS Notebook PC: Manuals
Your Maintenance & Service Guide is available to download as a .pdf file. It just might have your info located in there.
I also found this:
HP Compaq Business Notebook nc6000 Series - How to Clear a Password
If servicing a notebook with an unknown password, follow these steps to clear the password. (These steps also clear CMOS.)
Remove the real time clock (RTC) battery.
Wait approximately five minutes.
Replace the RTC battery and reassemble the notebook.
Connect AC power to the notebook. Do not reinsert any battery packs at this time.
Turn on the notebook.
All passwords and all CMOS settings have been cleared.
This procedure just might work on your Compaq laptop also.
Let us know how it ends up...Good Luck!
