Ah yes, Spring ... sometime in April or May probably, all two weeks of it before Summer hits us head-on.

Our rain was BACK this morning. It's been horrible here with no rain. Looks like only one week of solid rain and then back to dry weather.

jeesh, this is another day where school was called off and no snow to be seen until about 1pm. They are backtracking on how much we are going to get. Looks like just 4".

6" so far today, about 4" more tonight with blowing and drifting, then as much as another 8" tomorrow. If anything we're getting hammered harder than NWS thought we would.

Now if I could just figure out how to use technology to get about six inches of this crap to you (or some other lucky recipient) across the Internet I'd be much happier about it.
I went to the store for essentials (bread, milk, cereal) less than an hour ago and the car is already fully covered with snow again.
PS - Just checked, the 'official' snowfall in the last 24 hours is 10" with four more forecast for tonight, 3 to 5 tomorrow, 2 to 4 tomorrow night. Ugh. Me and my shovel are becoming inseperable friends.

We finally caught a break - the last of the snow is moving south of us so we wind up with only 16" total in 36 hours.
I never want to see that shovel again. But this IS Michigan, which means I'll be shoveling a week after April Fool's Day. P'r'aps by May 1st the mess will end.
