Tech Applications & tools
I would like to add a section of the site for free tech tools & apps. Boot disks & utilities, overclocking software and more. What free application or tool would you like to see added?

Free online scans:
Trend Micro Online Scan: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
Panda Online Scan: http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/
UBCD is really good as it comes with a complete set of tools.
BartPE is another good one.
BTW, we've had a thread on this a while back and a 2 page discussion on UBCD here

Tech he is asking what we would like to see here on windrivers not what we techs would take on the road. its different although some ideas may be gained from that thread
personally I think it would be great if there was progys like
ie eradictor
some more common dll's..like nvcpl.dll I hate that nvidia control panel dll
nvidia removal tools
msconfig for win2k
most of the others suggestions like boot disks
everest
hard disk data recovery
hard drive ultilities like seagate disk wizard
zero fill and low level utilities
via 4 in one drivers
winzip
there is more in my wee mind but it's fried this morning so I will post some more ideas later...
by the way great idea. i personally would love to find all the stuff I need in the one spot.

StartCPL I use all the time. You get lots of neat little apps when using AutoPatcherXP (sig)

Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
