Can't delete folders containing mp3 files
Hi Guys
I can't rename or delete any folders that contain mp3 files. When I try to rename or delete it says "access denied - in use by another program" etc even though no programs are running. I have two hard drives and the problem is occuring on both. If a try to create a new folder and copy an existing mp3 into it, even this new folder once it contains an mp3 can't be renamed or deleted. The strange thing is that I can rename/ delete the actual files within the folders, but still can't delete the folder when all files within have been deleted. I can also rename or delete any other folder that does not contain mp3s.
Any ideas...
TIA
Willie

What OS are you using? I'm assuming that it is to do with the permissions that you have set. Have you tried resetting permissions. You may need to take ownership of the folders and restore permissions to defaults.
