Any Help Would Truly Be Appreciated!
I know this is a common issue on this forum and people get tired of posting similar answers but ANY help would truly be appreciated.
My computer crashed and I had Windows reinstalled. The sound is no longer working except for the annoying occasional "bleep". The Device Manger has an exclamation and question mark next to the Multimedia Audio Controller. All wires are plugged in and power button is on and still no sound.
I'm assuming I have to download this driver from somewhere. So a nod in the right direction would help.
These are my computers specs:
Computer:
Operating System- Microsoft Windows XP Professional
OS Service Pack- Service Pack 2
Computer Name- Sony PCV-RZ40C1B
Motherboard Name- Asus P4SD-VX
Audio Adapter- Creative EMU10K2 Audigy Audio Processor
If any other info is needed please let me know. Thank you all ahead of time.

Welcome to the forum.
If this is a branded pc, then it should have come with a Restore CD/Driver CD. All you need to do is install the drivers for you sound card.
EMU10K2 is for the Audigy 2.
Follow the steps here: http://creative.com/support/
or just click on Software AutoUpdate
