How to disable LST Seperator page on novell 3.12

Client replaced Novell 3.12 server printer.
Seems like someone messed with printer options, Now when i connected new printer everything works fine, except for this extra LST page before each printing.
How can i disable it ?
P.S. One of the station prints without the LST page, all the others are, maybe cause it log on differently to the server ?

You can disable this for the printer default with Console1 or NWAdmin32.

Also check to see if there is just one person with the cover page or if it's everyone. If it's just one person, check their PC and client to ensure the cover/seperator page is unchecked.

console 1 is a javabased app that is run from a client, just like nwadmin... however im not sure it it will work on novell 3.1.

a better person to ask would be MacGyver....

it consol one or NWadmin32 are installed they will be located at:

\\SERVER\sys\public\mgmt\consoleone\
\\SERVER\sys\public\win32\nwadmin32.exe

as already suggested check the client settings (im assuming your on a windows client) right click the red N by the clock, select propretys.

go to the default capture tab, un check enable banner.

In NWadmin32 (assuming NDPS printer) :

locate the pritner object, double click it, click configuration, select the default config, click modify, on the general tab set banner to none.

for NON-NDPS printers I dont know.

NWadmin32 only works on Netware 4.x and above, while ConsoleOne only works on Netware 5.x and above (generally speaking). For Netware 3.12, you'll need to use the 16-bit version of NWadmin, but IIRC it doesn't do everything.

For Netware 3.x, you need to use a server utility called SYSCON to do most server configuration duties. If the separator page has been turned on server side, you should be able to disable it somewhere in there.

The other place separators are turned on is in the login script, you'll need to modify the capture command in the login script to turn off the separator page. Again, I can't find a list of command line switches but you should be able to run "capture /?" to get a list.

It's certainly been a while since I've seen a 3.x server, so forgive me if my advice isn't quite precise.

I will try to do my best and play with it.
Because one of the clients does not have this seperator page, maybe i'll change the login of all the other clients to the same way he logins.

The default for the Printer setup on the client for 3.12 was to have the "banner page" on - this is a desktop setting - check the "Big Red N" on the taskbar under "Client Properties" - also check the printer properties in the printer control panel....

I would be more specific, but it has been a few years since I have seen the exact screens.

i DO NOT HAVE a graphic menu !
well....I managed to cancel the banner page via adding the # capture to the script that all users run.
