Can't Neither Read Nor Write Or Burn Any Disk

i've Been Having Problems On & Off For The Last 3 Months With My Crappy Peace Of **** HP Internal CD-R Writer Sometimes It Can Red & Write Disk And Then I Can't Access A Disk At All,I've Did Everything That I Can Think Off I've Opened Up The Drive Tray< Used Canned Air To Try To Blow Any Dust Out Of The Drive With No Luck And I'm Running Out Of fresh Ideas, If Anyone Has Any Solutions At All I'm All Ears ..

Your symptoms don't sound too promising especially if this is 'stop starting' when 'working' keeps up .. what I'd suggest is that you try the 'cd boot test' detailed on this forums sticky 'a few times', to see if we can confirm whether you have a software issue, or much more likley by the sounds of it that your unit is dying & your issue is hardware related which means spending cash..

btw .. I'd try a 'lens cleaning kit' too, as well as the compressed air
