Nec ND6500A wont read blank dvd's

When I go into my computer it says the capacity of the blank dvds is 0, I have burned with these type of blank dvd's in the past with no problems and it will burn cds, and play dvds but it doesn't seem to like blank dvd's now, Im running windows xp home with service pack2 and I posted some info from nero infotool below, if you need any other info I will try and provide it. So if you have any suggestions they will be greatfully recieved.

Welcome to wd forums Light .

    So nero seems confus-ed ! ..

Most especially if you consider it isn't recognising blank dvd's !

Have you tried adding/ removing nero ? & do you use anything else for burning that might add what's called a 'class filter driver' ? (If you aren't sure read the 'sticky' in this forum, there's advice there if you do )
